30A Final Reflection
End of Our Journey & Beginning of Your Journey
From going back and reading all of my earlier posts I can see that we truly did have an interesting route to the present. Overcoming obstacles of difficult assignments as well as getting out and conducting interviews were both challenging and rewarding. I would have to say my most formative experience was conducting the elevator pitches. Each of them required you to be all in and confident on what you were saying. If you were not knowledgeable about your own product then who would purchase it from you? I believe that it really helped one develop as an entrepreneur.
My most joyous experience was conducting the first interviews. I interviewed my friends and roommates and has a great experience. They helped me come up with some major aspects of my product as a whole. To be honest earlier in the course I had a desire to be an entrepreneur in the future, but today I am unsure. My ultimate goal is to attend law school and work in the state government and I am unsure if my initial plan of potentially being an entrepreneur fits.
The main piece of advice I would give student who are going down this path in the future would be to work hard. Nothing great in life comes easy but the rewarding feeling you receive after being successful and putting forth everything you had is unlike any other. In order to perform best in this course I would recommend creating a concrete schedule that they do not deviate from, as many of the assignments can surprise you and you you can miss them. With hard work and an an organized system, you can be very successful.
Hi Mark,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you this class was very interesting because little by little it prepared us with a single objective to cultivate our entrepreneurial spirit. Also, overcoming difficult tasks and losing fear in interviews was challenging but very helpful for everyone because we didn't give up. You give excellent tips for future students. I am glad that you have met your expectations in this class, and I wish you the best of luck in your future projects. Great post!
